Someone on the 12d Model Forum recently asked whether anyone had drainage.4d files suitable for Victoria. I was able to dig around and find not one, but two, possible files in my archive. I don’t know if they’re correct, but I’m providing them in case they help someone.
Source code of Model Duplicate with Attributes application for 12d Model. Dependencies: set_ups.h – Available in your 12d Model install folder standard_library.h – Available on the 12d Forum here: https://forums.12dmodel.com/viewtopic.php?t=1196 !! NOTE !! These files cannot be directly run from within 12d Model. For that, you need the compiled version here or you need to compile it yourself (Utilities→Macros→Compile from the 12d Model menus).
Compiled 12d Model application (aka macro) simply duplicates a given model to a new model with an option to also copy model attributes. The model attributes can be used for storing various meta-data and user-defined information, but are also used extensively by the Three Waters tools in 12d Model, particularly the stormwater drainage analysis.

For more about what chains can do and how they can be used, I’d recommend reading my previous post, Introduction to Chains . In today’s post, I’ll be covering one of the advanced features of chains- parameters- and how we can… Read moreSet and Change Parameter Values in Chains
A 12d Model application design to be used in chains for displaying values and capturing those values in parameters. This works similarly to the Chain Custom Prompts app, but is not intended for user interaction. Rather, the idea is that the chain author will provide the values to be displayed in the panel with the intention of capturing them in a parameter. This is sometimes required because there is not currently (V14C2h) an in-built Set Parameter Value command. As such,… Read moreChain Custom Values (12d App)
